OPEX offeres prizes in the forms of cash to the victors or in special championship events, a vehicle to the winner.
Types of races that OPEX offers:
-Rally
-Rallycross
-Endurance
-Legal street track racing
-Cross-state racing
A little bit about each type of race that OPEX offers:
-Rally: Rally is a time trial race set on dirt, where one car sets off at a time to set the fastest time from start to finish, the person who crosses the track in the least amount of time is the winner of that round. Rounds go up to 3-5 rounds, and at the end of the final round the times of each round for every driver are put together, and the driver that took the least amount of time to get to the finish wins. As long as he is even 1 second ahead of the guy in 2nd place, he still wins. Rally also involves a person in the passenger seat who reads out the incoming turns, recommended speeds, etc. to the driver so that he may adjust speed and whatever he may need in order to not crash.
-Rallycross: Rallycross is a race set on dirt, however with multiple vehicles at once. It's more like a traditional track race, with laps, several vehicles but on dirt, possibly gravel and tarmac if the track goes over some. Rallycross is a fast event, normally the tracks are very short but the amount of laps is high.
-Endurance: Endurance races are races that include several vehicles, however with a very long and difficult track with several laps, 7-12, or a set time that drivers have to race, such as 30 minutes or several hours. La Mans is an endurance race, except it lasts for 24 hours.
-Legal street track racing: These are classic track races set on public roads with governmental permission.
-Cross-state racing: These are very long races that take place across a portion or the entire state of San Andreas, with no laps. For example, the start line is in Mulholland, and the finishing line is at Calligula's Casino in Las Venturas.
